Since I updated, less than an hour ago, I find that the cursor tends to be be less responsive and will typically hang for a short period when receiving new commands. When in motion, the cursor is fairly smooth, though it feels a little jerkier than before. All in all, there seems to be a greater delay in communicating.
Prior to updating, I experienced and enjoyed a very smooth and responsive interface. I am running Air Mouse on an iphone 3GS, over an Airport Extreme, to a Mac Mini (late'09) 2.53ghz. I would like to know if anyone else has seen similar troubles, or has anything in the way of a solution.
Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same issue. Used to be smooth as butter, and now it's all jerky. It's driving me nuts! Mac Pro snow leopard airport extreme Iphone 3gs.

Exact same problem here. The general responsiveness is definitely worse but the worst part is the significant lag between starting a movement on the trackpad and the start of motion of the cursor on the screen. In my opinion, it makes what was one of my favorite apps almost unusable. Any ideas? Mac mini, Snow Leopard, iPhone 3G.

There shouldn't be any noticeable difference between the performance between the new and old version. However, because we have switched from UDP to TCP in this version, any difference in performance could be coming from your network or settings.
The first thing to try is to disable IPv6 on your Mac, this has shown to resolve network lag with a lot of users, especially when using Airport Extremem. To do this, go to System Prefs->Network, then click on the adapter you are using and press the Advanced button. Under "Configure IPv6", set this to Off.
Please post your results so we will help you get it performing like it used to.

I've had the same lag since the update and after switching off ipv6 it has still not helped, any other suggestions?

What version are you coming from and what version of the app and server are you on now? Can you describe the lag, is it a delay in movement or choppy movement?

I noticed that this problem clears up if you input the IP of the computer you want to control manually rather than pick it from the list of servers in the app...

Or you could play around with the Frequency slider in the app settings.
