Is there a way to configure the airmouse to adjust the main volume on Mac Mini? For example, when we watch a movie through Netflix, the only volume control options we have through airmouse relate to itunes.

Thanks,
WL

Click the media icon stars Windows Media Player when I just want to increase the volume while watching Hulu in my browser. It would be nice if we could assign volume up/down/mute as function keys as a workaround, but there apparently is no way to do this with vbscript.

This is strange but airmouse appeared to work for this the first time i used it but not anymore. The first time i used it i was adjusting the volume for the netflix movie through the music menu. However now when i try, it takes the netflix movie out of full screen mode and brings up itunes. Any thoughts on why it was letting me do this but now its not? I have already downloaded the new server software and it appears to do the same thing.

I know at this point a volume control is almost mandatory for web browsing. What you could do is open the server software and modify the Key Setup for web and set the - and + keys to operate the system volume. Another option would be to view Netflix through Plex and then I believe Plex will work under the media remote with has volume up, down and mute.

TonyTony, do you know how to assign - and + key to volume as you have suggested? This seems like the solution but i cant get the software to recognize the volume buttons on my mac keyboard. Is there a keyboard code i should be entering? Thanks for your input.

Hi all, this is an amazing APP! I love it so far... I use Netflix streaming and I'm wondering the same thing as Wdleach. Perhaps there is a way to assign the "fn+F12", & "fn+F11" to the programable hot keys. I was able to program the F12, and F11 keys, but can't seem to get the "fn" part in there, so the hotkeys just pring up Dashboard and Expose. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

Micah

Hey, it is built in already!

If you have a look in the support section of this page (http://www.mobilemouse.com/support.html) and scroll down to "Media Mode" section you will get enlightened:

"[...] universal volume control. This allows you to access the volume even when the media screen is not showing. To activate it, just press and hold your finger down on the music note icon on the toolbar. Once you see the volume popup appear, release your finger and tap the volume icons to change the volume levels. [...]"

Have fun changing the volume
