View Full Version : 2.0 Odd Behavior on Dock/Home Screen

I've got 2.0 somewhat running. However, it has some weird behavior.

The first time I close the keyboard, the dock screen just shows a spinner. The spinner will not go away until I exit and restart Air Mouse on the iPod Touch.

The second time I connected, I could see the icons. However, they were "messed up", as this screenshot shows (http://share.overzealous.com/dock.png). (The attachment manager apparently does not work on this forum.) Yes, PhotoShop and Preview came in upside down.

The third time I connected, the dock appears OK. (I really like the magnification and rearrangement when programs are opened or closed.)

Part of the problem might be that I have 3 dock spacers in place. These were created using SuperDocker's Add a separator feature. These items disappeared on the third restart.

Had the same problem but I was able to fix the issue by removing some of the icons from my dock. Seemed that the application didn't like having so many icons to manage in the home screen. Once removed, the app worked perfectly. Hope that helps.

FOR SUPPORT STAFF

Could you change the option from "Close" to say "Quit" as they are quite different on a mac ;)

Cheers,

We've tested it to work with over 50 icons in the dock. How many icons did you have when it wasn't working properly?

I am also having the "spinner" problem on my dock screen.
i started out with about 25 items on my dock
got that down to 15 (didn't want to)

i have restarted both the iphone app, and the macbook app.

the app recognizes itunes, and firefox, and brings up the appropriate control screen when they are opened, but my dock will not show up.

Is there an answer?

thanks
