View Full Version : Unable to connect after a while

Hi there,
I'm using Air Mouse with both my 13 inch Macbook and my Desktop. I connected fine to begin with, but after a while, I could not connect to the servers, they weren't appearing on the list either.
Here's what I'm working with:

iPhone 4 iOS 4.1
Air Mouse app 2.1.3
PC Air Mouse program version 2.0.3.2
Mac Air Mouse application version 2.0.4
Netcomm NB6Plus4Wn wireless modem/router

I'd just like to add that after I restarted everything, including my router, Air Mouse worked.

But I wouldn't want this to happen again, any idea why it wouldn't find the servers then work after I restarted?

Looking forward to answers/ideas. :)

Hi ya Russ.

Righty Ho, ok firstly cool with the info but... as you have posted this is the WRONG area it means you sometimes miss the things that most people see... 30+ years of user testing has taught me to look for little things like those...

Firewall and Virus killers which are you using...?
Did you check to see that theres nothing already using or blocking the ip your using...?
And did you try the changing you IP and Port as per the user instructions...?

I've found since the last update that the mobile mouse software on my macbook like a STATIC IP (fixed to one value) more then a floating one...
Mine are currently set at 192.168.1.68 and port 9090 No Password...

Let me know if that doesnt help I should be off most fo the day as one of my customers cancelled a 4 hour meeting this morning due to ICE on the roads...!!!
