I'm British so it doesn’t affect me but... saying that I know lots of people who are currently on AT&T who want to move and now WILL move...

We had O2 in the UK who f*cked us all with their plans and phone costs because they were the sole provider with the iPhone, but now I use TESCO MOBILE who give me double the data and unlimited texts for the same costs BUT with ONLY a 12 month contract, but heres the killer they use O2's network which is like DUH... so hopefully it might breed some competition in the US and then its a win for everyone...

Yep true to what I said above it's opened up competition and AT&T are trying to keep all the people who's conracts are up form leaving in droves...
