Drag and drop

I have only just installed Mobile Mouse (the free version at first) but since then have had an issue dragging and dropping items on my mac if I'm using my normal mouse. For example, if I wanted to drap an app off the dock usually you can drag it, drop it onto the desktop and it disappears, however now it will just hover wherever my mouse is until I click the menu bar. I have similar issues dragging files around.

Has anyone else had these problems, and if so, any solution? I like Mobile Mouse, and want to use it, but if this is an unsolvable problem I just can't use it.
