Hi everybody
I have the air mouse server running on a macbook pro with snowleopard. I have downloaded and installed the newest version of the server and the iphone app, too. On my other notebook running on windows XP everything works fine but not on the mac.
Everytime I connect my iPhone to the server it crashes. I reinstalled it several times now without any success.
Maybe somebody can help me.
Thanks

I'm able to run the server on my iMac, the icon appears in the menu bar, and then, as soon as I run the app on my iPod Touch, 1G, it says, "Connected," but after a few seconds, the icon disappears from my iMac menu bar and the app on my Touch says, "Attempting to reconnect," but never does. Any suggestions?

Same with me on one of my mac minis.

I can't seem to edit my posts, but I figured i should mention this...

The mini that crashes is running Leopard 10.5.8. The MBP I have, and another mini running snow leopard do not seem to have the issue.

Well I tried restarting my Mini, and now it seems to be working just fine! So if you haven't tried it, give it a shot.

Is it just me or is mouse control a little jerkier than the previous version?

I'm experiencing the same problem. It crashes at the moment the iPhone app connects to the server. I've tried all three OSX versions currently on the homepage (downloaded about an hour ago). So the fix the admin talks about above unfortunately doesn't work for me, so it seems.

I'm having the same issue.
Mac mini 10.5.8
I re-downloaded the server and rebooted, but still crashes after connecting. Server launches and runs, but crashes soon after connecting.

Please make sure that each of you submits a request for support directly to us, we want to get this resolved for all of you. We were dealing with a crashing problem on the first day for some users, but that was resolved already. If you are still having problems, we will need to dig deeper with you to figure it out.

I am using 2.0 of iPhone app, and am using OSX10.5.8.
I have tried reinstalling everything and have restarting the phone.
I have tried the connection test page at http://connect.mobileairmouse.com/. I eventually get an error page.

The server seems to crash just a moment after making a connection.

Pre 2.0 worked great for me. No problems at all.

So I had the older server running on a PC in the same room and after turning that off, I seem to be able to connect on my mac just fine!!

Maybe making sure other servers or versions of the server are off will help other people too.

I'm having the same problem with my MBP. I downloaded the server app and the itouch (3rd gen) app. When trying to connect to the MBP, the server crashes within 3 seconds. Please let me know when there's a fix to this.

Hi everyone!

Thatīs what helped in my case (MacMini G4 1.5GHz, OS 10.5.8, AirMouse 2.0):
Had the same Problem. Reinstalled, restartet, threw away the preferences, startet MobileAirMouse, got an error message again (Network missing.... ;-) ), startet the application again and no it works fine.
