I'm running a HTPC with Win 7 Media Centre. Is this a supported software of Air Mouse?

I know the software works off keyboard shortcuts so should be easy to add to Air Mouse

Windows Media Center support is available by default since the start, but is more improved in version 2.0. Is it not working properly for you?

I also have absolutely no function with Vista Media Center. Just updated to version 2.0 (both app and server) and there is no way to control the MCE interface. There is no arrow control (up/down, left/right) or even an enter key to select an item.

If you minimize the keyboard (the icon on the far right, above the keyboard), then open MCE, does the media screen come up on the app?

Yes it does but nothing happens on the MCE interface. Cannot control anything and none of the buttons work. The mouse works to navigate if you move it over the arrows to move the interface and you can double-click using the mouse pad.

Can you check if the UAC in Windows is disabled, and if so enable it. You can also try to set the server to "Run as administrator".

I enabled UAC and ran in Admin Mode and it works fine now.

Is there any way to run it without UAC enabled? I never have UAC enabled.

I'm new to airmouse and think I am having the same problem except I am on Vista 32 not win7, I am hoping there is a way to work around the UAC as I have never had it enabled and would prefer not to start now

There are various threads now about the software not controling MC properly. On mine only the volume keys work, the menu control and special function keys do absolutely nothing and never have since I bought it months ago.

Would be nice if this matter got some attention.

I regret that my first post here is a moan but turning on UAC to make this work with Media Center really isn't acceptable as a long term solution. UAC is a real pain! I hope that the developers can fix this without having UAC on. Dare I mention that Girder works fine with UAC off so how do they handle modifier keys?

Where do I find cursor keys and select button for Media Center?

Nick.
