By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Mobile Mouse, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the software or services.
1. About Mobile Mouse
Mobile Mouse is developed and operated by RPA Technology, Inc. (“RPA Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms apply to the Mobile Mouse mobile and Apple Watch applications, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB versions; Mobile Mouse Server for supported desktop platforms; Cloud Access; browser-based Web Remote; content-sharing features; and our websites and related services (the “Services”). Features and availability vary by product, platform, version, and purchase.
Physical dongle purchases are also subject to the seller’s checkout, shipping, return, and warranty terms. These Terms do not replace those terms or your statutory rights.
2. License to Use the Software
For software not governed by a separate license agreement, and subject to these Terms and any applicable app-store rules, RPA Tech grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Services on devices that you own or control for lawful personal or business purposes.
You may not:
- copy, redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or resell access to the Services except as expressly permitted; ordinary use in your own business is permitted subject to applicable plan limits;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Services, except where applicable law or an applicable open-source license permits it;
- remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices;
- use the Services to gain unauthorized access to a device, account, network, file, or system; or
- use the Services in a manner that is unlawful, abusive, harmful, or disruptive.
For apps obtained through Apple’s App Store, the applicable App Store end-user license agreement governs the app license: Apple’s Standard EULA applies unless a separate custom EULA is provided for that app. These Terms supplement that agreement for the Services and do not replace it or limit rights granted by Apple’s applicable usage rules, including permitted Family Sharing or volume purchasing. If there is a conflict concerning the app license, the applicable EULA controls.
3. Device Access and Your Responsibility
Mobile Mouse can control connected computers and devices, including mouse movement, keyboard input, application launching, media playback, file browsing, clipboard or content transfer, and system commands such as sleep, restart, or shutdown. You are responsible for securing your devices, networks, passwords, and Mobile Mouse connections.
Only connect to or control devices that you own or are authorized to use. You are responsible for the commands you send and for access you knowingly authorize, including resulting data entry, file access, application activity, and system operations. Check the selected computer and active application before sending commands or content, and keep backups of important data. This does not exclude responsibility that we have under applicable law.
Keep account credentials, pairing codes, Web Remote links, QR codes, and session passwords secure. A guest you authorize may be able to control your computer. Use available access controls, revoke paired devices or sessions when appropriate, and end guest access when it is no longer needed. Only enable persistent or unattended access where you have authority to do so.
4. Connections, Compatibility, and Hardware
The Wi-Fi version requires compatible Mobile Mouse Server software running on the computer. Supported connections can include a local network, peer-to-peer connectivity on supported systems, and Cloud Access. Cloud Access and browser-based Web Remote require internet connectivity and the applicable account and entitlement.
Mobile Mouse Bluetooth pairs directly with compatible devices without desktop server software. Mobile Mouse USB requires a compatible Mobile Mouse USB dongle and a host that accepts its input. The phone communicates with the dongle over Bluetooth; it is not a direct USB cable connection from the phone. Bluetooth and USB control are subject to range, pairing, hardware, and host-system limitations.
Not every feature is available in every version or on every device. Review the version comparison, product requirements, and store listing before purchasing. Performance depends on your devices, operating systems, permissions, network, browser, firewall, and third-party software. You are responsible for configuring the required permissions and connections.
5. Cloud and Online Features
Cloud Access and browser-based Web Remote rely on internet-based systems operated by RPA Tech and third-party providers for functions such as account authentication, device pairing, connection coordination, and, when needed, relaying connections. Other online features may include push notifications, content delivery, purchase verification, downloads, and support. Access may require sign-in, an active subscription, or another eligible entitlement. Device, guest, session, or usage limits shown for your plan or feature apply; reconnecting or changing identifiers to evade those limits is not permitted.
Cloud and online features may be interrupted, changed, limited, replaced, or discontinued, subject to applicable law and any commitments made for your purchase or subscription. We do not guarantee that any online feature will always be available or will remain available indefinitely.
If a cloud or online service is temporarily unavailable or permanently discontinued, features that depend on that service may stop working or may work differently. Features that operate entirely through a supported local connection, including local server connections, direct Bluetooth, and USB dongle control, should generally continue to work, provided the required app, any companion software or hardware, devices, operating systems, and local connection remain compatible and functional. We do not guarantee continued operation following future operating-system, hardware, security, or network changes.
When reasonably practical, we may provide notice of a material discontinuation through the app, our website, or another appropriate channel. However, circumstances such as provider shutdowns, security incidents, legal requirements, or technical failures may prevent advance notice. Nothing in this section removes any right to notice, cancellation, a refund, or another remedy required by law or the applicable store’s rules.
6. Purchases, Subscriptions, and App Stores
App purchases and in-app subscriptions are subject to the terms of the store or payment provider shown at checkout. Separate Mobile Mouse apps, hardware, and Cloud Access may require separate purchases. The purchase screen identifies the price, billing period, included features, and any trial or introductory offer. Do not assume that purchasing one version includes another version or a cloud subscription.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled under the store’s cancellation rules. For Apple trials or discounted subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before the offer ends if you do not want it to renew. A trial converts to the subscription and price disclosed at purchase unless canceled as required. You can manage Apple subscriptions through your Apple Account; see Apple’s cancellation instructions.
Canceling renewal does not itself request a refund. Uninstalling the app, signing out, or deleting your Mobile Mouse account does not by itself cancel an App Store subscription. Manage the subscription separately with the billing provider. When an entitlement expires, features that require it become unavailable. Local Pro features that you purchased separately remain included, subject to compatibility and the applicable license.
Refund requests for store purchases are handled under the store’s policies and applicable law. For physical dongles, consult the seller’s return and warranty terms. Nothing here excludes refunds or other consumer remedies required by law.
Pricing and offers may change for future purchases. Changes to an existing subscription are subject to the store’s notice and consent rules and applicable law. A one-time purchase does not guarantee indefinite availability of related online services, third-party integrations, operating systems, or hardware platforms, without limiting the rights and remedies described above.
7. Updates, Changes, and Compatibility
Subject to applicable law and commitments made for your purchase, we may release updates that add, modify, repair, replace, or remove features. An update may be required to continue using some functionality.
We make reasonable efforts to support the devices and operating systems identified in our current product information, but we do not guarantee compatibility with every device, router, network, application, operating-system version, or future update. Third-party changes may impair or prevent functionality.
8. Third-Party Products and Services
The Services may interact with third-party devices, operating systems, applications, websites, media services, networks, or app stores. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party products, services, availability, security, content, policies, or changes.
References to third-party products or services do not imply sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- control, monitor, access, or interfere with a device without authorization;
- transmit malicious code or disrupt a device, network, service, or other user;
- violate privacy, intellectual-property, computer-access, export-control, or other applicable laws;
- circumvent security protections or usage restrictions; or
- create an unreasonable burden on our systems or infrastructure.
10. Intellectual Property
The Services, including their software, design, interfaces, graphics, documentation, trademarks, and other content, are owned by RPA Tech or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Services or any related intellectual property to you.
11. Your Content and Feedback
You retain ownership of your text, URLs, images, files, and other content. When you use a sharing, clipboard, camera-transfer, or similar feature, you authorize the processing and transmission needed to carry out your request. This does not grant us ownership of your content or permission to use it for unrelated purposes.
Only send content you have the right to use and disclose. Check the destination computer and foreground application before sending: content may be pasted into an active application or opened on the receiving device. A transfer status does not guarantee that the destination application accepted or saved the content. Transfers may be subject to size, format, and compatibility limits, and some image-sharing features resize or compress images. Keep originals when fidelity matters.
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or other feedback about Mobile Mouse, you grant RPA Tech permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you. This permission applies to feedback, not to personal files or content you transfer using the Services.
12. Privacy
Our website Privacy Policy describes information handling on the Mobile Mouse website. App and online-feature data practices should be reviewed in the privacy disclosures provided for the applicable product. These Terms do not replace those disclosures or any consent required by law.
For questions about information associated with your account, connected devices, or use of an app or cloud feature, contact us. Where account deletion is available in the app, use that control to request deletion; cancel any store subscription separately as described in Section 6.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, accuracy, compatibility, and security.
We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, continuously available, compatible with every device or application, or immune from data loss, delay, interference, unauthorized access, or technical failure.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RPA Tech and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, files, profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or device availability arising from or related to the Services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable Mobile Mouse product or service, directly or through an authorized store, during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit is subject to the applicable app EULA and does not apply where a different remedy or liability is required by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or any mandatory consumer rights. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RPA Tech and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your unauthorized access to or control of another person’s device or data.
16. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to online portions of the Services if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Services, threaten their security or operation, or if suspension is reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect users and systems.
You may stop using the Services at any time. To end access, revoke active sessions or paired devices as appropriate and uninstall the applications and server software. Uninstalling does not delete a cloud account or cancel a subscription; use the applicable account-deletion and subscription-management controls separately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, and indemnification provisions.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, law, or our business practices. Revised Terms will be posted on this page. For material changes, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights already accrued. Your continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law; where express acceptance is required, continued use alone is not sufficient.
18. General Terms
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, asset sale, or similar transaction.
These Terms, together with the applicable app EULA and any product-specific terms presented to you, govern use of the Services. Mandatory consumer protections and applicable store rules continue to apply. Privacy disclosures describe our data practices and do not waive your privacy rights. If you use the Services for an organization, you must have authority to do so on its behalf.
